Allegan, went to be with his Lord, Saturday, March 28, 2009. Marv was born July 27, 1927, in Cheshire Twp., the son of Ralph and Flossie (Miller) Brower. He graduated from Bloomingdale High School, and served his country as a Veteran of the United States Navy. He attended the United Methodist Church in Allegan for many years. His past included, driving a milk truck route for over 30 years, the Allegan Community Players, volunteer fireman in Allegan, spent many hours at the Sunset house with his buddy Chuck. He also was a dedicated employee at the Gorden Funeral Residence, having worked with Joe VanderVeen since 1964 and retiring as Steve's right hand man in 2008. He enjoyed helping Dottie in the garden which they both spent countless hours in. But he really loved spending time with all his family, his wife, kids and grandchildren were all very special to him. He will always be remembered for his great sense of humor. Marv is survived by his wife, Dottie, his children, Kathy Brower of Holland, Shelley and John Hastings, Stacey and Tim Madden, Scott and Dawn Brower all of Allegan, Dan and Pam Weston of Plainwell and Dave Weston of Wyoming, 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his 3 brothers, Frank, Ford and Ernest, 1 sister, Lucille Ingalsbee, sister-in-law, Nancy Brower, brother-in-law, Leon Ingalsbee. Friends may meet with Marv's family on Tuesday from 6-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1 pm.
