Marvin "Jim" Ballard Jr., 63 of Allegan, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2016 at home. Mr. Ballard was born August 13, 1953 in Hastings, Michigan, the son of the late Marvin and Gwendolyn (O'Mera) Ballard. Jim spent his lifetime farming. He is survived his children: Dennis Ballard, Lisa Carnegie, and Adam and Shellie Ballard; 4 grandchildren: Shaneebree, Jamy, Jayla and Claire; 2 brothers: Mike Ballard and Bob Ballard; and 1 sister, Nancy and Terry Brink. A Celebration of Jim's Life will be held at Monterey Township Hall on Saturday, November 19, 2016 from 3-5pm. A private graveside burial will take place at a later date at Maplewood Cemetery, Allegan. Service Information
