Fennville, MI, died Monday, January 29, 2007 at her home. Mrs. Black was born July 9, 1929 in Harrietta, MI, the daughter of James and Leila (Ault) Martin. Surviving are 6 children, James L. and Jerri Black of Fennville, Leila Stacy of Indiana, Carolyn Black-Wells and David Wells of Fennville, Kimberly and Shawn Hattey of Fennville, Rodney and Wendy Black of Monroe, and Richard Black and Jackie Vorenkamp of Fennville; 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and her puppy, Ashton. She was preceded in death by her husband, James, 1 brother and 1 sister, Howard Martin and Clarice Hoffman. Friends may meet with the family from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. Pastor Dave C. Fortenberry officiating. Private spring interment in Section Sixteen, Harrietta, MI.
