Allegan, MI, died Thursday, June 1, 2006 at Borgess Medical Center, Kalamazoo. Mrs. Snyder was born January 19, 1940 in Allegan, the daughter of William and Ruth (Enders) Hillsburg. Surviving are 3 children and their spouses, Robert and Arlene Snyder of Plainwell, Cindy Snyder of Allegan, and Sam and Linda Snyder of Hardwick, VT; 5 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Paul Hillsburg of Zeeland; 2 sisters, Betty Schneider and Marilyn and Jeff Sinkler and 2 best friends, Chris Lewis and Ruth Schneider, all of Allegan. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Beverly, and Kenneth and Opal Hendrixson. Friends may meet with the family from 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel, where funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. Pastor Joseph Phipps officiating. Interment Maplewood Cemetery, Hopkins Twp. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
