Naylor, Marjorie E., 97, of Plainwell, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2016 at the Life Care Center in Plainwell, Michigan. Mrs. Naylor was born in Chicago, Illinois on July 24, 1918, the daughter of the late Waldo and Ella (Heiss) Larson. Marjorie worked a variety of jobs in her youth, and after marrying her first husband, Gerald Barnes, went on to be a wonderful homemaker for her family, using her love for cooking, baking and sewing to benefit her family. She also enjoyed staying active by bowling. Marjorie is survived by six of her children: Becky and Andy Wolters, Leilanii and Paul Gruber, Geri Baker, Mike Barnes, Dort and Dan Robertson, Ralph Barnes; 19 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and 1 sister: Renee Bradley. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Gerald Barnes; her son, David; her second husband, Jack Naylor; and 4 brothers: Clifford, Ralph, Waldo and Bob. Friends may meet with the family at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, on Tuesday, February 16th from 11am-1pm, where the service will be held at 1pm., Pastor Tony Shumaker officiating. Interment at Trowbridge Methodist Cemetery.
