Marjorie O. Jones, 85 of Grand Rapids, MI went into the loving arms of the Lord Jesus Christ on Wednesday, March 3, 2004 at her home. Mrs. Jones was born May 8, 1918 in Hopkins, MI the daughter of Julius and Minnie (Wiltenburg) Schwartz. She spent her entire life in the secretarial and medical fields. She loved and supported her church, Epiphany Lutheran Church of Dorr, and many charitable organizations. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Dorothy Puschel; 2 brothers, Alvin and Robert Schwartz; 2 husbands, Rod LeSage and Robert D. Jones, Sr.; stepson, Robert D. Jones, Jr.; and a step son-in-law, Ronald Alm. Surviving are a sister, Hulda Puschel of Allegan; nephews, Paul (Diane) Puschel of Allegan, and Lynn (Debbie) Schwartz of Hopkins; a stepdaughter, Lynn Alm of Macomb; a former daughter-in-law, Judy (Bill) Massey of Howell; 5 step grandchildren; several step great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Friday from 2-5 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel. The funeral service will be Saturday 11:00 am at Epiphany Lutheran Church, Dorr. Rev. Dr. Charles R. Hogg, Jr. officiating. Interment Maplewood Cemetery, Hopkins. Memorial contributions may be made to Epiphany Lutheran Church, Bethesda, The Lutheran Hour or Lutheran Child and Family Services.
