Marion York, 62 of Plainwell, Michigan, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at Ascension Borgess - Pipp Hospital in Plainwell, Michigan. Born December 31, 1957 in Douglas, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Rose (Hejl) York. Marion was a very special lady, some would even say a bit spoiled, but she never minded being spoiled. It brought a smile to her face and joy to the people that were doing the spoiling. She was easy to be around and made others feel comfortable and welcomed. Marion had a love of music and books. If you visited her, you almost always heard music going or came upon her reading. She was blessed to have special people in her life, not only her family, but the many caregivers that visited with her and became more like her family. Her gentle spirit and easy ways will be missed by all who knew her. Marion leaves behind a sister, Alysoun Hagerman and two brothers, James (Laurie Westerhof) York and Dwayne (Tracy) York; and six very special caregivers, Shari Madagame, Natasha Hoogerhyd, Heather Edward, Rosemary McKinley, Max Miller and Terry Wing.
