Allegan, died Friday, September 5, 2003 at his farm. Mr. Busfield was born May 9, 1916 on the same farm, the son of Joseph Arthur & Inez (Kidwell) Busfield. Marion was a member of the Chicora Country Chapel. He farmed the ground where he was born for over 75 years and then died on that same property which he loved so much. He was a carpenter for over 25 years and loved to build with his hands. On November 17, 1945, Marion married Stella Clawson who survives, also surviving are 5 children; John Busfield of Kalamazoo, Ivan & Shelley of Allegan, Gary Busfield of Allegan, Wanda & Mark Wagers of Hopkins and Darryl Busfield of Grand Rapids, 7 grandchildren, 1 sister in law, Dorothy Busfield of Florida, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rita and 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Friends may meet with the family on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 am. Pastor Herb Curry will officiate. Interment will be in Lindsley Cemetery, Cheshire Twp. Memorials may be made to the Chicora Country Chapel
