of Allegan, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, November 2, 2010. at the life Care Center in Plainwell where she received excellent care. Marilyn was born April 20, 1934 in Allegan, the daughter of Clifford and Virginia (Bond) Martz. Marilyn worked for Park Village Pines, Bronson Hospital, and drove a school bus for North Christian Elementary School. She enjoyed drawing, painting with water colors, and loved music, she played many different instruments. Surviving are her aunt, Jean Martz of CA, cousins; Irene and Bob Goodrich of Traverse City, Nancy and Larry Minegar of Otsego, Mary Ellen Eaton, Helene and Paul Garlock, Beverly Breese, Debra and Kelly Miller, Bob and Sharon Goodrich, Dennis and Deb Goodrich, good friends, Dave and Carol Scheffers, brother and sister in law, James and Charlene Hawkins of Kalamazoo along with their children. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Hawkins and her parents. Friends may meet with the family on Friday, November 5, 2010, from 10 am till service time at 11 am at the Calvery Bible Church East, 5495 E. Main St., Comstock. Pastor Bryan Craddock will officiate. Interment Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta. Marilyn and her parents served with the New Tribes Mission in Bolivia and Panama, and memorial donations will be made be made to NTM USA, 1000 E.
