of Hopkins, died on Friday, November 13, 2015, at Ely Manor Nursing Home in Allegan. Mrs. Duryea was born February 16, 1928, in Hopkins Twp., the daughter of Harry and Velma (Nicolai) Rankins. Marilyn graduated from Hopkins High School, and helped her husband, Cleon, on the family farm all of her life. She loved to bake, cook and can, for her family, and enjoyed her time with the grandchildren. Surviving are her husband, Cleon; her 3 children: Charlene and Richard Landrum, Dennis and Cindy Duryea, and Jodi Morris; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Geraldine Laird. Friends may meet with the family on Monday, November 16, from 5-7 pm, at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 am. Comer Skinner will officiate. Interment in Poplar Hill Cemetery, Monterey Twp.
