Allegan, MI, died Thursday, March 23, 2006 at the Allegan General Hospital. Mrs. Sherwood was born March 4, 1951 in Allegan, the daughter of Charles and Betty (Fuller) Burkhead. Surviving are her husband, James; 2 sons, Charles Pattan and Carl Pattan, both of Allegan; 5 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Carl Burkhead of Tennessee, and Rex Burkhead of Allegan; 1 sister, Judy Burkhead, of Allegan. Memorial services will be held Tuesday at the First Church of God at 5 p.m. Pastor Don Hendricks officiating. Arrangements by the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel.
