Marianne Somers, 70, of Allegan, MI passed away Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Born May 1, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Kurt and Dolores (Hawksley) Leibing and was the wife of Keith G. Somers. Mrs. Somers worked as an administrator at Loyola University Hospital in Maywood, Illinois for 26 years prior to retiring. She then enjoyed being an antiques dealer at the Allegan County Antique Shows for 10 years. In addition to her husband, Keith, Marianne is survived by her three step-children, Bruce Somers, Carolyn Hanson and Cynthia Medric; and her two brothers, Michael Leibing and Tom Leibing. Friends may meet with the family at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, on Thursday, November 15, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, where a Memorial Service will take place at 3:00 PM. Inurnment at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, California.
