Marian M. Mitchell passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at the age of 76. She was the daughter of the late Helen Petrzelka and late Walter Wojciechowski. She is survived by her brothers Andrew (Janice) Newport and Walter (late Patricia Gerdes) Wojciechowski, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and her longtime caregiver, Jackie Walker. She was preceded in death by her sisters Bernice (Charles) Van De Sampel and Helen (Sigmund) Runowski. Marian was born in South Haven, Michigan. Her family moved to Chicago when she was a small child and she grew up in the Logan Square area of the city. She worked at Prudential Insurance for several years, but illness caused her to leave that position. She moved back to the South Haven, Michigan area in the 1970's. She loved talking to people on the phone and stayed in touch with a wide-ranging group of friends and relatives regularly. She hand-crafted beautiful cards which she sent to them for birthdays. She will be missed for her quiet kindness. Interment at Stephenson Cemetery, South Haven, Casco Township. Service Details.
