Allegan, MI, died Sunday, September 4, 2005 at her home. Mrs. Brown was born August 5, 1931 in Hastings, MI, the daughter of Benjamin and Hazel (Neil) Nagel. She graduated from Middleville High School in 1949, and had worked for Shaw Walker in Muskegon for several years. Surviving are her husband, Herb; 3 children, Marilyn and Randall Wolters of Fennville; Daniel Brown and Christopher Brown, both of Grand Haven; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Robert and Peggy Nagel of Irons; 2 sisters, Lois and Richard Seppenan of Middleville and Shirley and Jim VanAnan of Florida; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her son, Gordon, in 2004. Friends may meet with the family from 12 noon Thursday until service time at 1 p.m. at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Mrs. Jody Pratt will officiate. Memorials may be made to the American Red Cross for the relief of Hurricane Katrina.
