View Photo Tribute Margaret A. Stannish-Anderson, age 59 of Cheshire Township, Allegan, died Tuesday, October 26, 2004 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo. Margaret was born August 31, 1945 in Marion, Indiana, the daughter of Thomas and Mary Jane (Sutton) Horan. She was a graduate of the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She was the weekend supervisor for Life Span Home Care Nursing Services. Margaret was a very generous person, loved her grandchildren greatly and also loved animals. She cared much for people and always put others first. Surviving are her husband, John; 1 daughter and her husband, Katherine & Chuck Garrison of Gobles; 3 stepsons, Eric Anderson of Allegan, Peter Anderson of Bloomingdale, Christopher & Amy Anderson of Wilmington, DE; 2 grandchildren, Jacob and Ashley; 1 brother, Michael Horan of Washington; 1 niece, Shonna Pessemier of Washington; many cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents. The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where services will be held Saturday 1:00 pm. Interment Lindsley Cemetery, Cheshire Township. Memorial contributions may be made to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary.
