Margaret Irene (Henry) Arndt, 58, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Ascension Borgess Hospital, with her family at her side. Born August 5, 1963 in Allegan, MI, she was the daughter of Norma (Kent) Knowlton and the late Laverne Henry. Margaret was a graduate of Wayland High School. She was the morning cook at Russo's in Hopkins for many years where she was known to whip up a mean omelet. In her spare time, Margaret enjoyed playing cards, putting together puzzles and adding to her extensive frog collection. In addition to her mother, Norma, she is survived by her stepfather, Bob Knowlton; sons, Scott Arndt and Andrew (Alyssia) Arndt; siblings, Wendy (Joe) Adrianson, Benjamin Henry and Jeremy (Tiffany) Henry; grandchildren, Parker, Myla Rose and one on the way; and many nieces and nephews. Along with her father, Margaret was preceded in death by her son, James Henry in 1999. Friends may meet with the family on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Hopkins Community Church from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM, at which time a celebration of Margaret's life will take place at 12:00 PM, luncheon to follow at the church.
