of Allegan, died Friday, July 25, 2008 at Metron of Allegan. Mrs. Blood was born August 23, 1915, in Allegan, the daughter of Jay and Vena (Taylor) VanOrder. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Surviving are 2 children, Jerry and Jerri Blood of Plainwell and Jim and Kitty Blood of Holland, 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 1 brother, Lee VanOrder, of Byron Center, 1 sister, Blanche Chapko, of Port Huron, 1 sister-in-law, Elizabeth VanOrder, of Kalamazoo and 1 brother-in-law, John and Cecile Anderson, of TN, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Clyde. Friends may meet the family on Tuesday from 11am till service time at 12 noon at the First Baptist Church in Allegan.
