Glenowich, Mable B., Allegan, died Monday, January 7, 2002 at the Allegan General Hospital. Mrs. Glenowich was born April 3, 1902, in Hopkins, the daughter of William & Bessie (Gravett) Truax. Mable "Granny" was a member of the Bloomingdale Bible Church, she had worked at Baker Furniture and at Michigan Fruit Canners in Fennville for over 30 years. Surviving are 2 daughters; Frances Lahndorf and Helena Garlock both of Allegan, 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank, 2 sisters, Irene Reynolds & May Truax, 1 brother , Melvin Truax and 2 son in laws, James Garlock and Elmer Lahndorf. Friends may meet with the family on Wednesday from 6-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 2pm. Pastor Russell Gibbs will officiate. Interment Poplar Hill Cemetery, Monterey Twp. Memorial donations may be made to the Bloomindale Bible Church or the American Cancer Society.
