of Allegan, died Saturday, June 1, 2013, at the Wings Home in Allegan. Mr. Eichler was born July 23, 1929, in Allegan, the son of Roy and Leah (Sadler) Eichler. Lyle was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, serving in the Korean Conflict. He retired from Rockwell Int., in 1990 after 23 years of service. He also worked for Lifesavers in Holland for several years, and was a volunteer fireman in Allegan for 22 years. Lyle loved his family and friends, and enjoyed spending time fishing. Surviving are his 3 children; Kevin Eichler, Tim and Carla Eichler, Kim Eichler, 6 grandchildren; Amy, Lindsey, Raechel, Justin, Adam, Aubrey, 7 great grandchildren; Trey, Jase, Bryn, Kyler, Calie, Addison, Ried, many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife Geraldine, and 6 brothers and sisters. Friends may meet with the family on Friday, June 7, 2013, from 6-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. There will be no funeral service. Memorials may be made to the Wings Home in Allegan.
