of Allegan, died Friday, April 30, 2010 at the Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. Mrs. Gomber was born January 2, 1929 in Convis Twp., the daughter of Frederick and Cynthia (Wells) Borst. She had worked for over 18 years at the Life Saver Plant in Holland. Surviving are her 4 children; Jim Phelps of Allegan, Marie and Dick Hammer of Allegan, Rheo and Chris Gomber of Bloomingdale and Myrtle and Mark Bloomfield of Holland, 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Lyle Frederick and several brothers and sisters. Friends may meet with the family on Tuesday from 1pm until service time at 2pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Tom Sousley will officiate. Interment Oakwood Cemetery, Allegan.
