Kalamazoo, MI, formerly of Wayland, died Friday, March 17, 2006 at the UpJohn Community Care Center, Kalamazoo. Mrs. Truax was born April 9, 1912 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Frederick and Clara (Mosher) Skinner. Surviving are 4 sons, Ronald and Alberta Blank of Kalamazoo, Wayne Blank and Jane Shagonaby of Allegan, Harl and Nancy Blank of Allegan and Terry and Sandy Blank of Jenison; 1 step-son, Albert Roy Truax of Colorado; 13 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Truax was preceded in death by her husbands, Harley Blank and Howard Truax; 1 brother, 1 sister, and 3 stepsons. Friends may meet with the family from 1 p.m. Monday until time of funeral service at 2 p.m. at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Mr. Mark Rogenski officiating.
