of Wayland, formerly of Monterey Twp., died at her daughter's home surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, September 19, 2012. Lucille was born September 11, 1915, in Dunningville, the daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Donaldson) Pegg. She graduated from Allegan High School in 1932, and held many jobs in the Allegan area. She was most known for her job as the Monterey Twp. Clerk for 58 years, sold Avon the old fashion way for 18 years, and was a member of the Monterey Center United Methodist Church for many years. Surviving are her 6 children; Vivian Nowakowski, Maxine Cook, Wanda and Ken Tiggleman, Sharon and Lawrence Kamysvek, Don and Char Coon, Patricia and Robert Grinnell, 23 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her 2 husbands; Ken Coon and Clyde Morris, 4 brothers; Otto, Russ, Loveal, and Keith, her sister, Gladys. Friends may meet with the family on Sunday, September 23, from 3-5 pm, at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel, where funeral services will be held on Monday at 10 am.
