Lucas Allen "Luke" Harrington, 32, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, April 14, 2019 in Hopkins, MI. Born May 30, 1986 in Fort Knox, KY, he was the son of Deborah Lynn (Hazen) Ruthruff and Kenneth Jay Harrington and was the husband of Victoria Lyn (VerSluys) Harrington. He had worked as a diesel mechanic at Pace Trailer. Luke was an avid sports enthusiast with an impressive golf swing; he could hit a golf ball all the way to the silos at the farm if you wanted him to. He also enjoyed playing horseshoes and bean bags and shooting pool. Luke always remained calm and quiet in any situation and he would never tell anyone no. Above all, he was a loving and dedicated son, brother, husband, father, uncle and friend. Family and friends meant the world to Luke; especially his two beautiful children. In addition to his wife of eleven years, Vicky, Luke is survived by his children, Payton Lea Harrington and Parker Allen Harrington; siblings, Amanda (Cory) Perrin, Jeremy Harrington, Emily (Scott) Steward, Charle (Annalise) Harwood, Timothy Harwood, William Harwood and Patrick Gillies; stepmother, Susan Harrington; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel, on Monday, April 22, 2019 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM, at which time a memorial service will begin. Service Details.
