of Allegan, died Sunday August 16, 2009 at her home. Mrs. Krotz was born March 23, 1931, in Gaylord, the daughter of Lewis and Gertrude (Lenartowicz) Nowaczyk. Lorraine graduated from Allegan High School in 1949. She worked for Tru-Heat for over 20 years, retiring in the early 90's. She was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Surviving are her 3 children, Diane and Tommy Sumner of Allegan, Brian Krotz of Allegan and Candice and Ervin Kurtzel of Flat Rock, 3 grandchildren, Tracy, Tommy Lee and Travis, 1 sister, Dee Howard of Allegan, 2 nieces, Brenda Hamlin and Georgette Hall, 1 nephew, Greg Howard, several cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry. Friends may meet with the family on Wednesday from 6-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where the Rosary will be recited at 6:30. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 11 am at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Alan P. Jorgensen Celebrant. Memorials may be made to the Wings of Hope Hospice.
