age 93, of Lawrence, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at her home. She was born August 12, 1921 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Joseph and Louise (Bajko) Karolewski. Lorraine is survived by her daughters: Jean (Russell) Coombs, Barbara Berns; her grandchildren: Jim (Shawn), Jill (Stuart) , Chris, Nicki, Tim (Cheri), Bill (Sheila), Ron, Ken; her great-grandchildren: Victoria, Ashley, Kara, Amber, Shane, Hunter, Corey, Morgan, Tim, Lily, Alyssa, Jorge, Skyler, Cassidy, Katie, Payton; her five great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Eugene; her son-in-law Otto Berns; her sister Evelyn Koszuta; and her brother Joseph Karolewski.
