Allegan, MI, formerly of Niles, died Sunday, October 22, 2006 at Golden Acres in Fennville. Mrs. Shaner was born March 27, 1921 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Claude and Sena (Hansen) Antiss. She was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Niles for many years, moving to the Allegan area in 1995. Surviving are 5 children, Phillip and Sandra Shaner of Oregon, Jane Shaner and Mary Shaner, both of Allegan, Claudia and John Watson, and Lori Shaner, all of Holland; 4 grandchildren, Brent, Heather, Fredrick and Samantha; 5 great grandchildren. Mrs. Shaner was preceded in death by her husband, Fredrick, in 1994, and a brother, Donald. Friends may meet with the family from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, www.gordenfuneral.com, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. Pastor Joseph Spackman officiating.
