Lorna Rose Russell, 79 of Allegan, Michigan, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Ascension Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Born December 5, 1941 in Allegan, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth F. Russell. Lorna, also known as Tada to her close family and friends, was a long-time resident of Allegan, Michigan. Her spunky personality and caring nature made everyone around her feel her energy and love. Lorna's easy smile and laughter will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her mother Elizabeth F. Russell and eight of her siblings. Lorna is survived by her sister, Mary Babbitt; daughter, Tammy (Chad) Gorby; granddaughter, Amber (Jon) Christman; grandson, Tyler (Rachel) Gorby; great-grandsons, Bryce, Kain and Rhett Christman; her best friend of 60 years, Ruth Schneider; as well as Glenda (David) VanOrder and Joseph Schneider who were just like her kids! She was loved by so many and touched everyone's life that she came in contact with! A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
