Hamilton, MI, died Friday, June 21, 2002 in Holland. Mrs. Dunford was born Feb. 23, 1923 in Allegan, the daughter of Vern and Viva (Porter) Tremaine. Mrs. Dunford had been employed by the Allegan Public Schools for 10 years as a custodian. Surviving are 4 children, Judy Trimm of Ft. Myers, FL, Barbara (Mike) Melvin of Portage, Phyllis VanHoe of Naples, FL and Phillip "Corky" Dunford of Pine Island, FL; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 1 brother and 2 sisters, Robert Tremaine, Mildred Hodge and Betty Brown, all of Allegan; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Private family graveside services were held Tuesday, June 25, at Oakwood Cemetery, Allegan. Rev. LaRae J. Rutenbar officiated. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc.
