Of Allegan, MI. Died at her home Sunday, December 12, 2010. Age 71 years. She was born January 27, 1939 in St. Johns, Newfoundland, Canada, the daughter of the late John and Bride (Conran) Quilty. She worked as a nurse with the mentally handicapped and the elderly. Loretta was a member of the American Legion Post #89 in Allegan and the VFW Post #3030 in Otsego. She enjoyed volunteering at the VA Hospital in Battle Creek. Loretta was married to Claud E. Frampton in 1955; he preceded her in death on July 11, 1996. Surviving are a son, Kevin (Dorothy) Frampton of Allegan; two daughters, Marion Frampton of Allegan and Michelle Frampton of Otsego; two step-daughters, Brenda and Dora; eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Johnny in 1957; and by three brothers and four sisters. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. Rev. G. Patrick White will officiate with burial in Ft. Custer National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wings of Hope Hospice.
