Lois Marie Hays, 91, of Allegan, MI passed away Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Allegan County Medical Care Community.  Born August 16, 1932 in Allegan, MI, she was the daughter of the late Troy E. and Dorothy (Mattison) Clawson and was the wife of the late Rex Hays.  Lois was a member of Monterey Center United Methodist Church.  She loved to travel, especially to Hilton Head, and shopping trips to craft stores.

Lois is survived by her children, Cheryl (Bob) Larr, David (Linda) Hays and Randy (Kim) Hays; grandchildren, Shawn, Kalene, Kacey, Kelli, Kammy, Tyler and Shelby; twenty great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Along with her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Lloyd Clawson, Dorothy Miller and Betty Emmons; and her infant great-grandbabies, Abby Byrne and Joshua Tuls.

The family will receive friends at Monterey Center United Methodist Church, 3022 130th Avenue, Hopkins, MI 49328, on Thursday, July 25, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM.  A funeral service will begin at 11:30 AM with Comer Skinner and Pastor Craig VanBeek officiating.  Lois will be laid to rest beside Rex in Poplar Hill Cemetery following the service.  Memorial contributions may be made to Monterey Center United Methodist Church, P.O.
