of Allegan, died Monday, July 20, 2015, at the Borgess Medical Center. Mr. Barber was born December 17, 1927, in Pine Grove Twp, the son of the late Franklin "Red"and Eva (Bowler) Barber. Lloyd was a Veteran of the United States Army, serving in WWII. He retired in 1975, from Rockwell, in Allegan, after 30 years of service. He was a member of the Eagles, and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Elaine; his son Gary and Debra Barber; 3 grandchildren: Shawn, Gary, Branden; 7 step grandchildren: Michelle, Jamie, Cindy, Ryan, Bryan, Miranda, Philip; daughter-in-law, Mary Barber; 3 brothers: Hank and Marilyn Barber, John and Earleen Barber, Don and Joyce Barber; 7 sisters-in-law: Lorraine Agens, Carol DePatie, Eleanor Ebert, Nancy Ebert, Gail Ebert, Betty and Ruth Barber; brother-in-law, Doug Ebert; special nephew, Paul and Molly Fergusson. Lloyd was preceded in death by his son, Larry; grandson, Skip; 3 brothers, Floyd Fergusson, Orrie Barber, Bob Barber; 4 brothers-in-law: Leonard, Charles, Donald, Gerald Ebert. Friends may meet with the family on Thursday, July 23, 2015, from 6-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 am.
