of Allegan, died Saturday, November 29, 2008 at her home. Linda was born April 2, 1944 in Allegan, the daughter of Joseph and Amelia (Hinkle) O'Connell. Linda lived in Allegan all her life, she worked for Tru-Heat for 27 years. She enjoyed going to the casinos and planting and caring for her flower gardens. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Surviving are her daughter, Michele Gilpin of Allegan, 3 step children, Doug Thornsberry and Dennis Thornsberry both of Ohio and Calla Pollack of Livonia, 2 grandchildren, Shelby Gilpin and Lexy Frost both of Allegan, 3 brothers, Roy and Judy O'Connell, Mike and Donna O'Connell all of Allegan and Bob and Naomi O'Connell of FL, 1 sister, Pat and John Mackey of Allegan, 1 sister-in-law, Lois O'Connell of Allegan, 2 aunts, Barb Hinkle of Allegan and Beth Breslow of FL, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Larry Lange and her brother, Jim. Friends may meet with the family on Thursday from 11 am until service time at 1pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Pastor Herb Curry will officiate. Memorials may be made to the Wings of Hope Hospice.
