Lillian Fae Overholts, 96, of West Olive, Michigan, formerly of Allegan, passed away March 24, 2016 at Grace of Douglas Nursing Home in Douglas, Michigan. Mrs. Overholts, known to most as Fae, was born on July 13, 1919 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Harry H. and Virginia T. (Cox) House. Fae became an LPN and spent her nursing career at Pipp Hospital in Plainwell and Allegan General Hospital. She attended the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Allegan for many years and appreciated the friendships and acceptance that she found there. She is survived by her three children: Pat Lockard, LuAnn and Don Brown, and Martha Snow-Lush and Steve Lush; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Fae was preceded in death by her three husbands: Elmer Gilstrap, William Pehlke, and Howard Overholts; and one daughter, Rosanne. Private graveside services were held at Oakwood Cemetery in Allegan.
