GILLASPIE, Lillian Grace, age 100 Allegan, MI, died Friday, Dec. 28, 2001 at Metron of Allegan. Mrs. Gillaspie was born Nov. 10, 1901, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Edward and Katherine (Marotte) Waigand. She had been a member of the Allegan Wesleyan Church for more than 30 years. Surviving are 5 children and their spouses, Lewis and Lois Gillaspie of Olney, IL, Aline and William Kellogg, Margaret and Clarence Osman and Katherine and Alan Brouard, all of Allegan and Linda and Cyril Page of Jackson; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Louise Russell of Colorado and Delores Straley of Indiana; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Aden, brother, Edward, and sister, Ellinor Depper. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-4 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Funeral services will held Monday 2:00 pm at the Allegan Wesleyan Church. Pastor Mark Schlechty officiated. Interment Mapledale Cemetery, Olney, IL.
