Lillian M. Berens of Watson Twp., Allegan, MI, died Sunday, March 31, 2002 at the Allegan County Medical Care Facility. Mrs. Berens was born May 19, 1919 in Hopkins, MI, the daughter of Otto and Hortense (Mansel) Knobloch. She had been a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Allegan. Surviving are 3 children, Judith Osborn of Bangor, Elaine Martha Berens of Allegan and Ronald Berens of Allegan; 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 2 sisters, Esther Beard of Kentucky and Louise McCue of Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl, in 1999, and 1 sister and 1 brother. Friends may meet with the family from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. Pastor Ronald Kruse officiating.
