Lillian Alexandria Ackerman, 92 of Allegan, died Saturday, January 19, 2002 at the Allegan County Medical Care Facility. Mrs. Ackerman was born April 1, 1909 in Harbert, Michigan. She had married Gilbert Ackerman on November 22, 1930 and he preceded her in death in 1971. Her family, whom she was very devoted to her whole life include, 2 daughters; Patricia (Ted) Branson of Phoenix, AZ, Karen Christopher of Allegan, 8 grandchildren; Dayle (Jim) Chronister of Muskegon, Tim Branson of Hollywood, FL, Bernie (Pattie) Christopher of Portage, Larry (Barb) Christopher of Portage, James Christopher of Wyoming, MI, Robin (Kathy) Christopher of Benton Harbor, Dan (Mirtha) Branson of Hollywood, FL, Patrick Branson of Hollywood, FL, 12 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, 1 sister-in-law; Neve Mathieu of Roseville, a special nephew; Charlie Scovern of Tyler, TX. She was also preceded in death by her mother, Rose Larsen and a sister, Sylvia Scovern. There will be no visitation. A graveside service will held at Riverside Cemetery, Chikaming Township.
