COCHRAN, Lewis E. Valley Twp., Allegan, died Friday, Dec. 28, 2001 at the Allegan County Medical Care Facility. Mr. Cochran was born Aug. 3, 1914 in Shawnee, OH, the son of George and Clara (Evans) Cochran. He had been employed by Rockwell Int'l for more than 30 years, retiring in the early 70's. Surviving are 3 children and their spouses, James and Hope Cochran of Allegan, Sharon Peakstein of Holland, and Edward "Phil" and Karen Cochran of Allegan; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 1 sister-in-law and her husband, June and Doran Wedge of Allegan; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma, in 1995. Friends may meet with the family from 3 - 4 p.m. Sunday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Graveside services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Millgrove Cemetery, Valley Twp. Pastor Fred Perry officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Assoc.
