Monterey Twp., Allegan, MI, died Saturday, September 27, 2008. Letty was born December 21, 1958 in Big Rapids, the daughter of Robert and Ethel (Payne) McFadyen. She had served in the U.S. Army. She loved riding bikes and was the chapter director of Women on Wheels. She was previously employed at Transway Inc. in Holland and currently employed at P.J. Transportation in Gun Lake. Surviving are 2 children, Amanda (Randy) Herbert of Kansas and Clinton Royce Wheeler of Allegan; 4 grandchildren, Jordan, Trystin, Harley and Elias; 3 brothers, Alex (Cathy) McFadyen of Florida, Jim and Ernie McFadyen of Muskegon and George and Sandy McFadyen of Fruitport; 3 sisters, Bobbie (Jim) Maddox and Dawn (George) Hernandez, all of Wyoming, and Margaret Breece of Colorado; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents. A celebration of life service will be held at her home Wednesday, Oct. 1, from 2-8 p.m. Arrangements by the Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel.
