Otsego, died Friday November 20, 2009 at the Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo. Mr. Hultgren was born May 3, 1920, in Norway, Michigan, the son of Leonard and Anna (Fiefarek) Hultgren. Leonard was a Veteran of the United States Army. He graduated from Hinsdale University in IL with his RN degree, he then went to Loma Linda University in CA, to earn his degree in Physical Therapy. Leonard worked for over 20 years with the Allegan General Hospital, retiring in 1984. He was a member of the 7th Day Adventist Church in Allegan. Surviving are his sister, Catherine Gordon of Menominee, 1 sister-in-law, Pauline and Bob Manning of Muskegon, 1 niece and 2 nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy. Friends may meet with the family on Monday from 1pm till service time at 3pm at the 7th Day Adventist Church in Allegan, 229 Cutler St. Pastor Donald Williams will officiate. Private interment will take place at Fort Custer National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the 7th Day Adventist Church Building Fund. Arrangements by the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel.
