of Martin, died, Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at his home. Mr. Leverich was born in Allegan, the son of Rush and Frances (Owens) Leverich. Leland was a Veteran of the United States Army, serving in Korea. He was a life time member of both the DAV in Kalamazoo and the VFW Post in Wayland. He was employed by Fuller Transmission/ Eaton for over 25 years and also was a maintenance man with the United States Post Office in Grand Rapids for 10 years. Surviving are his wife Sharan (Slotman) Leverich, whom he married on August 28, 1959. Also surviving are his children, Leland and Cindy Leverich of Vicksburg, Russell and Theresa Leverich of FL, Ruth Ann Alsip, Robert and Janet Leverich and Betty Lou Leverich all of Allegan, 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 2 brothers, Robert of Allegan and Allen of Ludington, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Laura. Private graveside services will be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta. Memorials may be made to the DAV.
