Watson Twp., Allegan, MI, died Sunday, January 29, 2006 at his home. Mr. Thompson was born March 24, 1912 in Allegan, the son of Frank and Anna (Connor) Thompson. He had worked for many years for the L. Perrigo Co. of Allegan and Allied Paper of Kalamazoo. Surviving are 4 children, Lawrence F. Thompson, Jr. of Highland, FL, Toni Thompson of Allegan, Gary and Karen Thompson of Kalamazoo and Terry and Betsy Thompson of Three Rivers; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Marion and Mike Smith of Allegan; several nieces and nephews, including Ross and Beverly Haines; many cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois (Ashley) Thompson in 1986, 1 daughter Sandra L. Martinez in 2004, and 2 brothers and 4 sisters. According to Mr. Thompson's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Allegan Co. Medical Care Facility.
