Allegan, died Thursday, November 19, 2009 at his home. Mr. Moored was born June 27, 1947 in Allegan, the son of William and Mildred (Strickfaden) Moored. Larry was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He worked for General Motors for over 39 years in Grand Rapids. On October 20, 1990 , Larry married Phyllis Wiseman who survives, also surviving are his 3 children, Cathy Vregevoogd of Lowell, Lonnie Wiseman of Allegan and Tracy Wiseman of Edwardsburg, 4 grandchildren, Cassie Fontaine, Justin Wiseman, Amber Wiseman and Tracy Wiseman Jr., 2 brothers, Clyde and Marilyn Moored and Terry and Vicky Moored all of Allegan, 1 sister Marilyn and Bill Zeigler of TX, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his son, Lance Moored, and 2 grandsons, Joshua and Lance. Friends may meet with the family on Tuesday from 6-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel,where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 am. Pastor Joseph Spackman will officiate. Military graveside services will be conducted by Otsego VFW Post 3030, at Hudson Corners Cemetery, Allegan Twp.
