Larry Sebert Duff, 55 of Allegan, died Sunday, June 16, 2002 at his home. Larry was born May 16, 1947 in Success, Arkansas the son of Frank and Nora (VanNada) Duff. He moved to Allegan at the age of four and resided in Portage, graduating from Portage High School in 1966. As a veteran, Navy Seebee/Marine, he served in Vietnam from 1968-1969. He worked at various jobs in the community including sales at Farnsworth Chevrolet and as a driver for Roger Smith Excavating in Allegan. He was a life member of the VFW Post # 8372 in Engadine, MI, and a member of numerous service organizations. He was an active member of Christ Community Church, Allegan. Larry was preceded in death by his father, Frank Sebert Duff and is survived by his mother, Nora Duff of Portage; his wife, Linda Duff of Allegan; 1 son, Kevin & Jody Duff of Delton; 1 daugher, Becky & Randy Taylor of Plainwell; 4 grandchildren, Morgan and Kyle Duff of Delton, and Andrew and Jakob Taylor of Plainwell; 1 sister, Mary & Albert Arendt of Tampa, FL; 1 brother, Roger & Cindy Duff of Scotts, his long time companion and dog, Minnie; and many extended family members. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5-7 pm at Christ Community Church, 3370 - 113th Avenue, Allegan, where a Celebration Service will be held at 7:00 pm. Pastor G. Patrick White officiating. Interment will take place Thursday at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta.
