Allegan, MI, died Sunday, January 8, 2006 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo. Larry was born November 30, 1952 in Allegan, the son of Lloyd D. and Elaine A. (Ebert) Barber. He was a graduate of Gobles High School, class of 1971, and had been a veteran of the U.S. Army. He had been employed at Rockwell for 15 years and at Wal-Mart in Otsego for 6 years. Surviving are his wife, Mary (Wale); 2 sons, Shawn and Skip, both of Allegan; parents, Lloyd and Elaine Barber of Allegan; 1 step-daughter, Sarah and Jason Klepper of Allegan; 1 step-grandson, Logan; 2 brothers, Gary and Debra Barber and Paul and Molly Fergusson, all of Allegan; several cousins. Friends may meet with the family from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, www.gordenfuneral.com, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. Pastor Joseph Spackman officiating.
