of Grant, formerly of Martin, died Sunday, May 9, 2010 at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. Lana was born May 10, 1976, in Plainwell, the daughter of Earl and Laura (Holthof) Gruber. Lana graduated from Martin High School in 1994, she was active in the band. She worked for Lacks Industries in Grand Rapids for over 10 years. Surviving are her husband, Andy, her step daughter, Lauren, her mother, Laura Gruber of Martin, her father, Earl Gruber of Hastings, 1 brother, Eric Gruber of Martin, grandparents, Jerry and Mary Holthof, of Hastings, and Richard Gruber, of Martin, 1 uncle, Duane Holthof, of Benton Harbor, 2 nieces, Brittany and Sydnie. And her special friends, Ozzie and Harriet, her dogs. She was preceded in death by her grandma, Donna Gruber and her uncle, Bruce Holthof. Friends may meet with the family on Thursday from 1-3 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where services will be held at 3 pm. Pastor Mike Sparks will officiate. Interment East Martin Cemetery. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
