Kitty Jean Carruthers, 75 of Allegan, Michigan, passed away Thursday, February 3, 2022, at HealthBridge Post-Acute Rehabilitation in Wyoming, Michigan. Born June 14, 1946, in Oakland, California, she was the daughter of the late Cyruss and Josephine (LoBretto) MacDougald. Kitty spent over 30 years working for the Perrigo Company before retiring to enjoy more of her local community. She loved going out to eat, especially at Minnie's Restaurant and Village Inn, in Allegan. During her spare time, she enjoyed paint by numbers and entered her paintings in the Allegan County Fair. Her family knows that she is at peace now and back with her partner of 42 years, Lou LeBlanc. Surviving are her two children, Pat (Kathy) Carruthers and Sean Carruthers; six grandchildren, Katlynn, Sonya, Aaron, Ryan, Steven, and Ava; and one great granddaughter, Lilliana. Along with her partner, Lou, Kitty was preceded in death by her son, Dennis Carruthers. The family will meet with friends on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, at 10:00 AM the funeral service will begin, Pastor Ken Nash officiating. Memorial donations may be made in Kitty's name to the Good Samaritan Foundation at Cornerstone Church (1675 84th St. SE, Caledonia, MI 49316).
