Allegan, MI passed away Sunday, October 26, 2008 at St. Joseph Hospital, Milwaukee, WI. He was stricken while working in Milwaukee on Tuesday. Kirk was born October 9, 1956 in Lansing. He was a self-employed carpenter. Kirk enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors around a campfire and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Annette, whom he married on February 25, 2005. Also surviving is his mother, Bonnie Showers of Allegan; his children Christina (Chad) Fulton of Allegan, Kirk (Krystal) Kingsley of Grandville and Erica (Kyle) St. Clair of Grand Rapids; step children Jason (Brandy) Knight and Shannon Arrasmith of Kalamazoo; 7 grandchildren; a sister, Dawn Wells of Allegan and step-brothers Norman (Sandy) Showers of Kansas and Mark (Julie) Showers of Allegan. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Stacy Kingsley, his step-father, Norman Showers; a brother Jim Kingsley and a step-brother, Harry Showers. Friends may meet with the family from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. Pastor Herb Curry officiating. Interment Millgrove Cemetery, Valley Twp. Memorial contributions may be given to the family.
