of Hopkins, died Wednesday, January 29, 2014, at the VA Hospital in Ann Arbor. Ken was born April 20, 1957, in Allegan, the son of Norbert and Alice (Plutt) Switek. Ken graduated from Hopkins High School in 1974, and was a Veteran of the United States Navy. Surviving are his mother, Alice Brenner, brother, Larry and Julie Switek, 2 sisters, Janet and Rick Merren, Marlene and Jaime Schaendorf, 2 step brothers, Burton and Kim Brenner, Ross and Jodie Brenner, his uncle, Bernard Plutt, his aunt, Shirley Switek. He was preceded in death by his father, Norbert Switek, his brother, Paul, 2 nieces, Stephanie and Jennifer, step father, Kenneth Brenner. Friends may meet with the family on Saturday, February 1, 2014 from 11:30 am till 12:30 pm, at the St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 12:30 pm. Rev Fr. Harry Potter Celebrant. A luncheon will follow at the hall. Private burial will take place at the church cemetery in the spring.
