Kenneth William Milhiem Jr., age 81, of Allegan, Michigan passed away Friday, March 17, 2017 at his home. Mr. Milhiem was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on July 31, 1935, the son of the late Kenneth Sr. and Agnes (Barnes) Milhiem. Kenneth was one of the owners and operators of Ken's Tire Service in Allegan for 46 years and also served as a volunteer fireman for 22 years. He was a member of the Allegan Fraternal Order of Eagles, 2315 Aerie. He had a great passion for supporting Athletics for Otsego, Hopkins and Allegan Schools. He spent 12 years on the Chain Gang for Allegan High School Football. He also had a great love of Detroit Tigers Baseball. He was a man of true integrity and had a great love for his family. Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Eleanor; their children, Keith Milhiem, Bruce and Sharon Milhiem, and Christine Milhiem; 2 grandchildren, Brent and Cari Milhiem and Amber and Chad Venderville; 4 A½ great-grandchildren, Addison, Caden, Lucas, Kennadi and Elliot is on the way; his sister, Joan Rininger and sister-in-law, Marlene Milhiem. He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard "Dick" Milhiem and brother-in-law, Neven Rininger. Friends may meet with the family on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 from 4-7 pm at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 22 at 11 am at the funeral home, Pastor Stephen Burrow officiating.
