Kenneth E. Meiser, 82 of Allegan, MI, died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2002 at the Allegan General Hospital. Mr. Meiser was born Aug. 7, 1919 in Dalton, IL, the son of William and Clara (Traurig) Meiser. He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Army, a member of the Allegan V.F.W. Post #3667 and had been employed by Rockwell Intl., retiring in 1979. Surviving are his wife, Alice; 1 sister, Margaret Ashley of Allegan; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, William and Raymond Meiser, and a half brother, Gilbert Goll. Friends may meet with the family from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where Prayer Services will be held Friday at 7:45 p.m. Rev. Fr. Jerome M. Heyman, O.S.A., officiating. Private family burial will be held Monday at Blessed Sacrament Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
